External Shock Wave Therapy

External Shock Wave Therapy has emerged as a non-invasive, non-surgical breakthrough solution for a variety of chronic tendon concerns including:

  • Plantar Fasciitis

  • Achilles Tendonitis

  • Tennis Elbow

  • Shoulder Tendonitis

  • and more

Low-energy shock wave treatments are given as a series and are typically not painful.  It is thought to work by inducing microtrauma to the tissue to initiate a healing response by the body. The healing response causes blood vessel formation and increased delivery of nutrients to the affected area to stimulate a repair process and relieve the symptoms of pain.
